PURPOSE

To define the Graduate Medical Education policy for closure or reduction of program.

SCOPE

All medical students, interns, residents and fellows (hereafter all will be referred to as trainees) employed by Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas.

PROVISIONS

In the event of a program closure or reduction, the Program Director will give notice to the trainees at least 6 months prior to the closure or reduction. Every effort will be made to aid the trainees in obtaining another position for training.
